Islamic Funeral Services (Janazah)

The death of a loved one is a time of great sorrow and reflection. Islam emphasizes honoring the deceased and supporting their family with dignity, compassion, and prayer. At Preston Islamic Centre, we are here to support you through every step of the **Janazah (funeral)** process.

We aim to make this difficult time easier by providing guidance according to Islamic teachings and ensuring the funeral is conducted respectfully and in accordance with Shariah.

 Our Funeral Services Include:
– Support in arranging **ghusl (ritual washing)** and **kafan (shrouding)**
– Conducting the **Janazah prayer**
– Burial arrangements and coordination with local cemeteries
– Assistance with paperwork and transportation, if needed
– Ongoing support for the bereaved family

Important Information:
– We recommend notifying the mosque immediately after death to begin preparations.
– Our team will guide you through the required steps, both religious and legal.
– The deceased should be buried as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, as per Islamic teachings.
– Family and friends are encouraged to attend and pray for the deceased.
